3 New Classes at 7220!

We are excited to announce 3 new specialty classes being added to our weekly schedule.

All classes are Included with your membership (punch card users can use a punch to attend).

Gymnastics

(Mondays): 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm in garage with Coach Evan

Whether gymnastics is your favorite part of CrossFit and you’d like to get more of it or if you could use some extra practice and instruction on gymnastics skills, this is a great opportunity to focus on those skills in a small group with personalized instruction and coaching. Increasing proficiency at gymnastics movements will also increase strength development, core control and spatial awareness – all of which improve CrossFit performance. Evan will take you through mobility and stability drills as well as progressions to improve or develop gymnastics skills such as pistols, handstands, pull-ups, T2B, and muscle ups. Sign up on the schedule. Class limit is 12. (Evan has a CrossFit Gymnastics Certification).

Strongman

(Wednesdays): 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm in garage with Coach Evan

This class is for those who want to become more proficient with strongman movements. This is a fun way for CrossFitters to increase strength without using a barbell. Because of the often-awkward size, shape and consistency of the objects in strongman, the lifts tend to have less efficiency than those done with a barbell. These loads challenges the neuromuscular system in a way a barbell cannot and better mimic challenges found outside the gym. Participants learn to lift Atlas stones, carry a yoke, flip tires, and clean and press odd objects such as a log, keg, anvil or stone at their relative level of strength. Sign up on the schedule. Class limit is 12. (Evan has a CrossFit Strong Man Certification).

Garage Heroes

(Saturdays) 7:00 am in garage

Hero WODs are created to honor heroes who have given their lives in the line of duty. Their purpose is to remind us to think outside of ourselves. A CrossFit Hero WOD is not meant to be an everyday training regimen, nor should it be. Since hero WODs are generally longer, high volume and often some of the most intense workouts that you will experience, we discourage newer athletes from participating until you've had at least 6-12 months of WOD experience and you are performing most WOD's with prescribed weights and movements. Ask a coach if they think your ready!

Also don't forget about our "Pack it In / Pack it Out" event Saturday 9/16 at 10:00 am!
